Anna Yuryevna Netrebko is an Austro-Russian operatic soprano. She had been known for her rendition of lyric and coloratura soprano roles, most notably Donna Anna in Mozart's Don Giovanni and Violetta in Verdi's La traviata, and proceeded into heavier 19th-century romantic roles, such as Leonora in Il trovatore and the title role in Macbeth. Since 2016, she has turned her focus to Verismo repertoire. She was noticed globally after playing Donna Anna at the 2002 Salzburg Festival and then appeared on leading stages, including the Mariinsky Theatre, where she began her career.

The Savannah Bananas are a baseball team in the Coastal Plain League that began play in 2016. The team sold out every game of the 2017–2019 seasons and are currently on an 88-game sellout streak. The team has been featured on MSNBC, ESPN, CNN, and Sports Illustrated for their unique promotions including dancing players, a break-dancing first base coach, and playing a game in kilts. They were named the league's organization of the year in both 2016 and 2017. The team is based in Savannah, Georgia. The Bananas play their home games at Grayson Stadium.

The Macon Bacon is a Georgia based wood-bat collegiate summer baseball team that began playing in the Coastal Plain League in 2018. They have appeared in the league playoffs twice, and finished as the runner-up after a Championship appearance in their second season.
