The Delmarva Shorebirds is a Minor League Baseball team based in Salisbury, Maryland. It is a member of the Single-A South Atlantic League and an affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. Its home games are played at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. The ballclub has won two South Atlantic League championships, in 1997 and 2000. Also in 1997, the Shorebirds received Baseball America’s Bob Freitas Award for Class A baseball. In July 2018, Baltimore Orioles extended their contract with the Delmarva Shorebirds.
The Potomac Nationals were a Minor League Baseball team of the Carolina League. They were located in Woodbridge, Virginia, and played their home games at Northwest Federal Field at Pfitzner Stadium. After the 2019 season, the team relocated to Fredericksburg, Virginia, becoming the Fredericksburg Nationals.
