BlackHawk is an American country music group founded in 1992 by Henry Paul, Van Stephenson, and Dave Robbins. Several backing musicians also performed with the trio; however, these backing musicians were not officially part of Blackhawk until 2008.

Confederate Railroad is an American country rock–Southern rock band founded in 1987 in Marietta, Georgia, by Danny Shirley, Michael Lamb, Mark Dufresne, Chris McDaniel, Warren "Gates" Nichols and Wayne Secrest. After serving as a backing band for outlaw country acts David Allan Coe and Johnny Paycheck, the band signed to a recording contract with Atlantic Records, releasing their self-titled debut album that year. In the 1990s, they released four more albums for Atlantic.

Sawyer Brown is an American country music band founded in 1981 in Apopka, Florida, by five members of country pop singer Don King's road band: Bobby Randall and Jim Scholten, both from Midland, Michigan; Joe Smyth, Gregg "Hobie" Hubbard, and Mark Miller of Kokomo, Indiana. After King retired in 1981, the five members decided to form a band.
