The 2020 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament Presented by New York Life was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Atlantic Coast Conference and was held at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina, from March 10–11, 2020. It was the 67th annual edition of the tournament.

The SMU Mustangs men's basketball team represents Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and currently competes in the American Athletic Conference of NCAA Division I college basketball. The Mustangs are currently coached by Tim Jankovich. In 100 years of basketball, SMU's record is 1319–1190. SMU has reached one Final Four, has made 12 NCAA Tournament Appearances, won 16 Conference Championships, had 11 All-Americans, and 23 NBA Draft selections.

The Temple Owls men's basketball team represents Temple University in the sport of basketball. The Owls compete in National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I as a member of the American Athletic Conference. They play their home games in the Liacouras Center on the university's main campus in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and are currently led by head coach Aaron Mckie. Temple is the fifth-most winningest NCAA Division I men's college basketball program of all time, with 1903 wins at the end of the 2017–18 season.
